Maverik provides two fleet card options to best fit your needs. The Maverik Fleet card lets you fuel at any Maverik location while providing security, control, and valuable reporting. The Maverik Universal card includes all of the benefits of the Maverik fleet card but can be used at 95% of fueling sites nationwide. Maverick’s fleet card partner is WEX Inc., a leading provider of corporate payment solutions.
Special Instructions:
Some WEX-backed accounts include a one-time setup fee of $40.
If you have the Universal Card, a monthly accounting fee may apply if fuel purchases are less than 1,000 gallons per month.
Upon account approval, the business card will be mailed to the physical business address listed with the Secretary of State and the IRS, even if you enter a different mailing address. This is a security measure to help protect your business from fraud.
If you’re applying for multiple WEX-backed accounts at the same time, it’s best to apply by phone. Submitting several applications online simultaneously could trigger fraud alerts.
To Qualify:
– Entity in good standing with the Secretary of State
– EIN number with IRS
– Business address- matching everywhere.
– D & B number
– Business license- if applicable
– Business bank account
– A Social Security number for the business owner(s) will be required for informational purposes
